about carey alpine club

Carey Alpine Club is a private ski club with a Lodge located at the Halley's Comet end of Parallel Street, Falls Creek.

For 2008, the joining fee is $7500 (which brings membership with a transferable right) with an annual subscription of $500. An application to become a member must be seconded by a financial member of the club and is subject to approval by the club’s Committee.

While rates vary by season, members have access to the Lodge at a member's rate; member families are charged the member rate plus 50%; while members can also invite guests at charge generally double the member rate. Junior rates apply to those under 18 years of age and are half the adult rates.

Each member is entitled to bring 3 family or guests when they use the Lodge facilities. Of course, families with more than 2 children are accommodated.

For the winter season, bookings commence on 1 May of each year, while for other times, bookings can be made by contacting the Club's Booking Secretary.
